The Rat Gang "is a 1998 HBO television film that tells the story of the Rat Gang. Although Joey Bishop (played by Bobby Slaton) is a member of the organization, he only gets very little screen time, while John F. Kennedy (played by William L. Peterson) is portrayed as Sinatra's intermittent friend, given a more central role. Don Chandler won a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of Sammy Davis Jr. The Rat Gang won three Emmy Awards and received more nominations, including nominations for performances by Chandler and Mantegna.
