Former low caste samurai Hanayama Daichi and his gambler friend Yazu Hanji arrived in the once peaceful town of Kofu. This small town is now filled with gamblers, prostitutes, and unscrupulous opportunists, all attracted by the scent of blood and newly mined gold. Daikichi brought a little girl whose father was killed by a gangster assassin, hoping to find her family. Conspiracy and violence follow closely, as they must resist a deadly female spy and a mysterious ronin with a violent past. As all these forces come together to uncover a secret, tensions escalate, triggering a wave of violence that could destroy them all. This exciting story is further highlighted by Hiroki Matsuda once again playing the role of his father Konoe Jushiro.
