Two documentaries tell the two most profound questions - what is everything and what is nihility? In two epic, surrealist and soul-expanding films, Professor Jim Alhalili seeks answers to these questions while exploring the true size and shape of the universe and exploring the amazing science behind the surface nothingness. The first part, "Everything", saw that Professor Al Khalili began to explore the true face of the universe. This journey took him from the distant past to the boundary of the known universe. In this process, he recorded the extraordinary stories of men and women who discovered the truth of the universe, and investigated how mathematics and astronomy affected our understanding of space. The second part, "nihility", discusses the science of human perception limit, and we now understand the deepest mystery of the universe. Jim began to answer a very simple question - what is zero? His journey ended with the deepest insight into reality in human history. Everything comes from nothing. The ultra-small quantum world has shaped the vast universe we live in today, and Jim can prove this.
