全黑人電影，要知道美國的種族歧視嚴重到黑人很難拍出一部屬于自己的影片，白人總是會找各種借口阻撓和破壞，對于這樣一部電影，首先是敬意。
戴墨鏡的珍妮杰克遜，直接跟他哥哥一模一樣，看見她就會讓人想起已逝去的杰克遜。至于桑迪牛頓，最漂亮的時候當屬碟中諜，飄逸至極。
在結構和味道上跟撞車、時時刻刻相似，8個不幸的黑女人的辛酸苦難，有人認為這是最優秀的女性電影之一，精致得就像一出舞臺劇，豆瓣上的7.6分，太低，至少得8分以上。生命必須要有裂縫，陽光才能照進來。影片片名直譯為：給那些當彩虹出現，就要考慮自殺的有色女孩。
