"True Love First" has further pushed the documentary genre into a new field, as it examines the opposing reality of "love first"; True Love; Will our perception of love change with age? How do we decide our love life? Is there something like true love? Are there any invisible partners in our relationship? Our ghosts from the past? This movie reproduces important past experiences and offers a glimpse into the possible future, with non actors portraying their older and younger selves, encouraging the couple to face the reality of their hopes and memories, as well as their influence on their love life.
